Currently, I am working as IT consultant (web oriented) for Rai TV at the following projects, still under construction, although what doesn't been so in my life ?! Here, follow some examples of my present activity as webmaster:

Mondo 3 "A museum for digital humankind". At the moment the HTML graphic interface awaits to be integrated with a server database.

Rai Satellite 3 "Enciclopedia". The internet site (3rd level browsers) will feature javascript functions as rollovers and database connectivity for automatic programmes scheduling.
Perl and common gateway interface are easily substituted by a powerful compiled program written in Clipper for Windows for Intel platforms. This user-friendly database application, named Win Palinsesti E3, translates a tv scheduling db into html pages ready to be uploaded on the http server.

The "Sistema museale senese" is a Rai Educational pilot project. The link bring you stright to the internet preview of a huger program which consists of 3d animations, cd rom, museum interior design and so on. Check it out.

Intranet solutions and database connectivity as part of my next job tasks. Are internet developers at a rail-junction? The train to get onto is named .asp, .hxq or, shortly, active pages. I think so. Thus, move up!
